Multiplexer (MUX)
The Telairity BE-MUX-5000 Multiplexer is an efficient and economical broadcast-quality unit for combining up to eight separate ASI transport streams into a single transport stream for transmission across a high bandwidth link using SDH or PDH microwave radios, QPSK or QAM modulators, or other digital transmission equipment. The BE-MUX-5000 automatically filters out empty packets, redefines PID and other information table entries as needed, and regenerates and recalibrates program clock references (PCRs). In addition, it allows users to insert their own data into the stream. A separate G.703 input and output option is also available.
