The Telairity Product Line
All Telairity encoders are implemented with multiple 50 GigaOps Telairity-1 video processors and the company's direct-execute AVClairity encoding software for maximum performance. Telairity encoders are designed from the ground up to provide high picture quality at low bit rates, encode latencies as short as 150ms, "instant" on at power-up, reduced power dissipation, simplified operation, and high reliability. All Telairity encoders are software upgradeable for easy field maintenance. Only Telairity encoders are built with genuine Telairity video technology. Telairity encoders easily interconvert between codecs by means of a simple software upgrade. Currently, three compression standards are available: MPEG-2 (SD), H.264/AVC or AVS (HD & SD). Telairity Option Cards
Telairity encoders include an internal option card slot, which can be filled with any of the following option cards. For encoders equipped with an option card, the two-letter prefix of the model name changes (from BE) to reflect the added capability of the unit.
BA models: Composite In option (SD models only): Converts analog composite input to SDI input for the encoder(cross-cable SDI output of composite board option to SDI input of encoder)
BT models: Transcoding option: Converts pre-encoded MPEG-2 (VC-1, etc.) input to source SDI input for the encoder. Option includes a choice of inputs: ASI, IP, or SDI (cross-cable SD output of transcoder board option to SDI input of encoder)
BG models: G.703 output option: Accepts SDI output of encoder and converts to G.703 output, conforming to E3 standard (cross-cable SDI output of encoder to SDI input of G.703 output option)

SES3200 Scalable Encoder System
A complete "head-end in a box" solution offering the ultimate in density, with up to 32 channels of Mobile/SD video Built on the industry-standard 12U 14-slot ATCA chassis, the SES3200 combines complete I/O flexibility with complete encoding flexibility. Dynamic software control allows any input to be routed to any encoder channel, and encoding modules to be redefined as HD, SD, or mobile to accommodate shifting demands. Full fabric backplane eliminates the need for cabling, as well as any need for external routers, switches, or multiplexers. The non-stop architecture includes flexible backup schemes from N+1 to full dual redundancy, as well as hotswap capability on all cards, providing reliable 24 x 7 x 365 throughput.
